Geocache Description:

A quick lunchtime cache in a neighborhood park.

I stopped by Subway for a lunchtime sandwich again, then stopped off at this busy little park to wolf it down and take a short walk on the trails. There were people all around, but not just in a single location: a couple having lunch in the pavilion; a pair of moms with one kid apiece at the nearby playground; a couple of neighbors sitting on their patios that face the park, sunning themselves and enjoying the delightful weather; a couple of other lunchtime cars parked in the lot with their drivers still inside.

I couldn't hide the film canister in the pavilion or on the eastern walkway that goes past the tennis courts, so I took a turn around the western walk, past the basketball court and continued around to the WNW to the street, the park sign and back through the lot to my car.

I wondered to myself as I was walking, "Just what does 'B.M.T.' stand for? For that, I had to go to Google. The third answer was "Brooklyn Manhattan Transit" (visit link) , one of the early subway lines in New York City. Now you know, too.
