Hotel O.J. Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

mgbmusic: I REALLY hate to do this, but the cache is gone, as is the original host. There simply is no good way to re-hide the container here so it'd be reliable, and previous finders will agree, without the original container, this cache loses some of its meaning. Having said that, this is still a bit of a landmark, so I hope someone can place a new cache here sometime because of where it is, but the container (which was a plastic knife with a hollow handle for the log) won't really fit here any more. Thanks to all who hunted and for the favorite points!

Geocache Description:

Cache contains only a log book - BYOP. Cache listed with size "Small" but there is not room for trade items. Cache container is larger than a micro, but listed as "Small" b/c it's not your typical keyholder type cache.

This is sort of a landmark in my neck of the woods. It may be considered "infamous" or "notorious" depending on how you view the case in question.

However you view the case, the fact remains that the site of this cache is the hotel that O.J. Simpson checked into approximately four hours after the bodies of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman were discovered.

Hope you enjoy the hunt, the find, and the unique cache container constructed for this cache. Please keep a light heart and maintain your good humor when searching for this cache.

Cache should be approached from outside the property line, around the outside of the fence.

Coords taken with Garmin GPS with approx. 28-35 ft accuracy
