St.Jame's Cache Traditional Cache
netleyhunter: Some of the locals contacted the MBGA regarding concerns concerns they have with this cache. There has been some issues with people disturbing artifacts on the church's property and a case of someone breaking into the church and causing damage. They seems to feel that geocachers might be to blame for the damage to the artifacts on the outside of the church while looking for the cache. I contacted these individuals and put their concerns to rest over geocachers being responsible, but they still would like the cache removed. So this one is being retired and being archived and will be removed in the spring of 2022.

Make sure you read the history board on the way in. Good place to learn a little Manitoba history. Great place to watch for migrating waterfowl in the spring and fall. Don't be surprised if you hear hunters to the south of you in the fall. It might be me out trying for a Thanksgiving goose!
Update 2020, heard from a local that there are cachers who are moving and messing with artifacts relating to the church. Not sure how true this is, and I was debating archiving this cache because of it, but decided to leave it. Cache is not anywhere close to the church, it's in the bush area south of the church. Please respect this area and the church, and look but don't move things around. Thank you!
