Geocache Description:

This is one of two caches placed in and around Hannington, which will enable you to find a third 'bonus' cache 'Hannington Finale'.
When you find this cache, under the lid are half of the co-ordinates which will lead you to the third, mystery cache. (You will need to also complete The Jubilee Connection to be able to complete the mystery cache).
This multi cache begins at St John the Baptist Church, then through Bydemill Farm to the old Swindon & Highworth Light Railway.
It’s believed that the water that still runs through the Old Mill at Bydemill Farm, was controlled by the miller who lived at Hampton Farm, where there is a dyke, so as the Mill would never flood.
The S&HLR ran between Swindon and Highworth, but had a troubled existence. It began in 1875, but due to under funding, was finally taken over by the GWR and opened in 1883. Around the period 1917-1926, five or six passenger trains ran each day. Additional trains ran taking men to and from Swindon Works in the early morning and in the evening. A milk train ran twice on Sundays, in the morning to drop off empty churns at each station and in the evening to collect them when full. Passenger services were withdrawn in 1953, and the line was finally closed in 1962 when freight was also withdrawn.
The co-ordinates above are for the suggested parking. If you plan to do all three caches together, this is also the best location to park then walk on around in a 'sort of' circle.
After passing through the farm, stay on the footpath for a while until you come across the old line (although it isn't necessarily 'that' recognisable at this point!) then turn right.
There are some nettles, and can be muddy under foot when wet.

On your way to the 'Jubilee Connection', why not have a go at the other Hannington caches en route!
