A geocaching response to the tragic tornado at Greensburg
From Mount Hope to Greensburg. What can you do to help? One thing you can do is Find This Cache.
This little, simple cache is dedicated to the restoration of Greensburg after the tragic tornado of May 5. Members of my church, in addition to the church's corporate response, have decided to donate $10 per find to help with the cleanup and reconstruction, until July 5, 2007.
The cache itself is a 35mm film canister with just a log-sheet so bring a pencil. It is placed very near a monument to another tragedy that we will not soon forget.
Please do not disturb any of the residents. Use your best judgment if searching on memorial day weekend; otherwise enjoy this peaceful, contemplative spot near Mt. Hope.
