Makuta Teridax: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Due to lack of response from the owner, this cache is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Norwegian: Få ting er så frustrerende som å se fergen legge fra kai i det du suser inn på fergeleiet! Denne gangen var det fergen Haljem over til Stord som stakk av. Med 40 minutter å vente til neste ferge, hva gjør man da?  Jo, man romsterer rundt i bilen, finner noe plastikk som kan fungere som en boks, noe papir, en liten blyantstump, og vips! Man har en TURBOKS! Da er de 40 minuttene man har til rådighet gull verd. Frem med Frk E-trex og så på gjemmestedjakt!

Haljem er en meget sentral fergekai langs vestlandskysten. Her er det avganger både til Sandvikvåg på Stord, og til Våge på Tysnes. Til og fra Sandvikvåg er det avganger døgnet rundt.

Det er nå nye ferger som er satt inn på strekningene fra Haljem. Sprett nye gassferger. Nå spares både miljø for forurensing, og folk sparer tid.

English: Its few things thats so frustrating as a ferry leaving the terminal at the same time you are turning into the terminal! This time it was the ferryfrom Haljem to Stord that left som seconds before i arrived. With 40 minuts until the next ferry leaves, what do you do then? Well, you turn the car upside down to find some plastic that work as a box, some spare paper, and a pencil. Then in a sudden you have a cache! The 40 mins you have until next ferry leaves are suddenly worth a lot. On with Miss E-trex and then on the hunt for a suitable hidingplace!

Haljem is a very central fery port along the western coast of Norway. It is ferries leaving for Sandvikvåg at Stord, and Våge at Tysnes. At the line between Haljem and Sandvikvåg is it departures 24/7.

It is now new ferries on the two lines from Haljem. Totally new gas-ferries. The environment is spared for much polution, and the people for a great deal of time.
