Knife's Edge Traditional Cache
Walton Crew: Finally made it out to Knife's Edge to check on the cache, and it's been muggled yet again -- we found some of the swag smashed on the concrete. Since the flood last year, hiding spots in this area have become pretty hard to find, and the cache has been disappearing regularly. We feel it's time to archive this one and let someone else take a shot at a new cache here. Thanks for the finds -- it's been great to read your messages over the years. Take care, and good hunting!

A cache on the south shore of Coe Lake in Berea, Ohio.
A cache along the south earthen levee of Coe Lake. The levee, along with an overflow system to Baldwin Creek, control the level of Coe Lake. The area has a network of hiking trails, and the levee itself is a popular area for fisherman. Round trip distance to the cache and back to parking is about a mile.
The cache is no longer a multi as the tags kept disappearing, so the coordinates are the actual location of the cache. Don't expect it to be an easy hunt, however! The cache is an ammo box hidden in an area with lots of hidey-holes.
Cache is not suitable for small children as the trail is high and narrow in some places and steep in a couple of short stretches. Expect mud, and avoid the trail after a heavy rain or during winter, as the steep areas can be slippery.
When in the area, also check out two other caches close by: "Coe-rced into Caching" and "Tesoro de la Chupacabra."
