Geocache Description:

the cache you are seeking is a micro, with only a log sheet, so BYOP. Please do not distrub the plant life and respect the area.

In Northern McLean County just east of the town of Weston is the last remaining Tract of relatively undisturbed virgin prairie. The five acre plot contains the Weston Cemetery and also contains almost 100 native plant species. Weston Cemetery Prairie is a designated Il. Nature Preserve and is managed by the Il. State University and serves as a valuable seed bank for current and future prairie restoration projects. While there check out the cemetery and imagine what this country looked like back in the 1820's as settlers first arrived in this part of the country. Do not attempt this cache during times of deep snow or muddy conditions, there is only a grass and dirt drive.
