Geocache Description:

Park at N 40* 21.963 W 75* 54.708 and start walking up the drive (Rosemont Ave.) after crossing over 13th St. After passing the Baseball Diamond, the path is basically an unpaved extension of Rosemont Ave, wide enough to drive heavy equipment on. You can follow the sidewalk to within 825 Yards of the cache. Do not follow the asphalt path at the end of the sidewalk. Stay Right. You might encounter an Albright Student, coming from student housing. I would not recommend doing this cache at night.

The cache is a .50 cal Ammo Can about 50' off an old Parcourse (keep reading to find out what that is). An Ammo Can hide in Reading is very rare and worth saving. ChucKremer hid the original Parcourse Cache and adopted it over to me when he moved out of the area. I left this one open to everyone. I am looking forward to re-visits by previous finders and first visits by others.

Some new neighbors moved in and set up camp nearly on top of the original Cache. To hide version #2 (this cache) I only moved the original Ammmo Can about 330 feet from the previous spot. But it is now closer to the trail, closer to civilization, and nobody is going to set up a camp here. I have to admit I can't find most of what Chuck had originally described. But I still find the history interesting, and here it is:

"Back in the days when jogging became the rage, someone got the idea that it would be good to exercise more than just the legs, heart, and lungs. They invented the "parcourse". With it’s roots in Switzerland, a parcourse is a timber fitness trail that combines scientifically designed exercises with walking or jogging to provide a well-balanced physical fitness routine for the entire body. Individual exercise stations with apparatus are spaced along a walking trail or jogging path. The participant proceeds from one station to the next and performs the exercises illustrated at each (stretch, push-ups, balance beams, etc). The jogging trail part is near to where the cache is. The part in the front (near the dorms) has the remnants of some of the exercise stations. If you look around, you can still see some of them. Most have been removed for renovation projects such as the soccer fields. That is where the course used to start and end."
