This site is easily accessable but frequented by muggles...so an early morning or twilight search would be advisable.
This is a micro cache slightly larger than a 35mm film cannister. It is located near a memorial dedicated to the 91 US sailors that lost their lives on the USS Peary, bombed in Darwin Harbour on 19th February 1942.
The Peary, a Destroyer, took 4 direct hits from Japanese bombers before drifting and sinking. It's final resting place is indicated by the memorial's 4 inch gun salvaged from the Peary after the war.
As it's a micro cache, please bring your own pen to log your visit and only small swaps please.
