This cache has been archived.

Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Once a cache is archived for non-responsiveness (including the cache page) it can't be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This can be either an easy drive-by cache or one for the cyclists riding the C2C or even just a section of the route.

Parkhead Station House stands at 1500 ft above sea level in the Northern Pennines and marks 100 miles on the C2C on the traffic free section of the Waskerley Way and it is all down hill to the end, which is 34 miles to the finish at Sunderland!

The former Station Masters house has been converted to include a B&B, Bunkhouse and Tea Rooms and is fully licensed. A nice stop for refreshments after the long slog up Rookhope Incline (or the even longer uphill slog from Stanhope).

Cache container is a 5 inch tubular container containing a log sheet and pencil.
