Geocache Description:

A quick cache in the outskirts of Alexandria, dedicated to a friend!

The cache is situated in the sculpture garden of Maureen Quin, who is a professional sculptor and who has had many solo exhibitions during her career. Maureen was awarded the silwer medal by the university of Pretoria for her outstanding contribution to art and the Premier's Award in the field of Arts and Culture for promoting art and especially sculpture in the Eastern Province. She is also the creator of the famour sculpture in front of the Grand West Casino in Cape Town.

Take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee or Tea. Entrance fee is R10 per adult and R5 for students.
Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 17:00, and on Saterdays 09:30 - 13:00.
