Geocache Description:

To find the cache:
There is parking for ONE car on a small gravel pull-out on Duhig Road. Do not park on the side of HWY 121, or you may attract the interest of the CHP. There is no need to go into the vineyard rows, and the owners would prefer you do not. On a nice day you will definitely be seen from the patio of the establishment on the hill, but if you bring a camera to photograph your find, you'll look like one of the constant stream of tourists who stop at this point daily for photos. No climbing necessary. Bring your own writing implement.

About the location:
Since the late 1800's, when farmers began to settle this land, then known as Rancho Huichica this area has been the most used point for travel between Napa and Sonoma. From trails, to dirt roads, to the two-lane cement highway built in 1915, to current Highway 121/12 this area has long been known as the "Gateway to Napa".

Why am I bringing you here?
A scenic location, a bit of history, and a quick find!
