EN: The highest waterfall in the Low Tatras
SK: Najvyšší vodopád v Nízkych Tatrách (55 m)
a druhý najvyšší na Slovensku. Vodopád bol vytvorený
prepadom horského potôcika na vápencovom skalnom stupni. Jeho
prietok je relatívne stabilný, približne 3 l/s. V roku 1980
bol vyhlásený za národnú prírodnú pamiatku.
K vodopádu sa dostanete po zelenej znacke od reštaurácie
Bodega na Podsuchej, smerujúcej na kopec Brankov. Približne po
30-40 min prídete na križovatku (N 4859,3350; E 01918,022) kde
sa treba pustit po cesticke dolava.
EN: The highest waterfall in the Low Tatras (55m) and second
highest in the Slovakia. The waterfall has been created by the
spillway of the brook on the limestone rock elevation. The flow is
relatively stable, approximately 3 l/s. In the 1980, it was declare
to the National nature monument.
You can walk to the waterfall by the green mark walk headed to hill
Brankov, from the restaurant Bodega on Podsuchá. After 30-40
minutes you will be on the crossroad (N 4859,3350; E 01918,022),
you need to go to the left.
