This One's For You, Manny! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

junglehair: Looks like the cache was washed away in the flood. The area is still pretty muddy and has a tree blocking part of the path now. I decided to archive rather than replace this one.

Geocache Description:

This one's for you Manny and all the other newbies out there.

Manny is a coworker of mine that I have introduced to geocaching. He's still a newbie and learning how to use the GPS. I thought I'd place a cache in his honour in the park that's near his house, so he'd have something to practice on. This is an easy cache, just a few feet off a bicycle path. Bring the whole family - more eyes make for a shorter search. It's a small lock and lock container with a log book and a few trade items.

The cache is winter accessible, but could be difficult to get to in the spring when the flood waters are high. Beware of stinging nettles.

Good luck!

This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official cache in the MBGA Cache Splash event.
Category 24: Cacher Tribute themed cache. A cache dedicated to your favorite cacher. (Please ask the subject of the cache for permission, first.)
