Geocache Description:

Top-Shop 3 is a bonus cache for those who find Top-Shop 1 and 2. It can only be done after Top-Shop 1 and 2 have been completed.

This is one of a series of three linked caches which involve a walk or boat trip on the Stockton Flight of locks on the Grand Union canal near Southam. The caches are named because the walk covers the locks from Stockton Top Lock to Shop Lock.

The co-ordinates given are NOT for the cache but for the layby on the lane from Long Itchington. If doing all the caches at once, by car, the best place to start is from the car park opposite the Boat Inn, however the direct route to Top-Shop 3 is via the track 50 yards from the layby, towards the bridge.

Cards showing the two equations for the co-ordinates of Top-Shop 3 have been placed in Top-Shop 1 and 2. You will need the answers to the same questions as those used to find the other caches.

Finding this cache involves walking the towpath beside the locks and crossing the bridge.

***Canals and water are not inherently dangerous if common sense is used, but children should be carefully supervised***

Please replace the cache container exactly as you find it, without making it impossible for the next cacher to remove it by hand.
