Start at the above co-ordinates. Here you will find a black and white plaque with information about Godalming's street lighting. On the plaque you will find a date: AB November 1881.
Now proceed to N 51° 11.141' W 000° 36.692' and look up. You will see 8 numbers above a shop front: 16CD 18EF.
Carry on to N 51° 11.125' W 000° 36.934'. This was previously Godalming's town hall and is known locally as "The Pepperpot". On one side is a sign: "Erected by Subscription GHIJ".
Finally, head to N 51° 11.271' W 000° 36.966'. There is a stone memorial here to John George "Jack" Phillips, telegraphist on the Titanic. Note the date on this memorial as 15 April 19M.
The cache itself is located at N 51° 11.X' W 000° 36.JHC' where:
X = [(E × (A + B) − J) × M)]+ F
In October 2017, the clues for the cache were changed. The council had updated the signage near the Jack Phillips Memorial, we we've changed the old "19KL" clue to a different "19M".
