We love this trip down the Grand River and thought placing some caches along the way would be a great idea for others who love getting out on the water.
It's an easy paddle down the river - we started at Kaufman Flats in Waterloo by University and Bridge. For the first time, we saw some spawning carp around this island. There's been a name change from what is listed at the cache - we originally thought it would be the Kayaking the Grand series but realized that Islands in the Stream was much more fun. Who doesn't love Dolly and Kenny...
We left a cow TB and a Tim Horton's coupon for this easy and quick find.
