Located in North York, near Don Mills & York Mills Rds.
See below for parking and alternate entry points.
Around the turn of the century, this area of North York was completely rural. An immigrant of means to Canada, Mr Dunlop chose this area to establish his estate. For many years, the Donalda Farms raised thoroughbred horses for racing.
In the mid 1950's, with planning for the Don Mills community well underway, the property (which was no longer rural!) was sold to the Don Mills Development company, which used the estate as their planning & development office. The main entrance used to run off of Don Mills Rd. The cache is located along the old private entrance that used to run south off of York Mills road. We found this location by accident, didn't know what it was, and did some major research to find this out!! The current tennant, the Donalda Club Golf Course holds these public lands on a 99 year lease.
The cache shouldn't be too hard to find, just be aware that there are a number of houses backing on to the ravines, so a Muggle watch should be established. Not sure about Poison Ivy, didn't see any, but be prepared. Use caution during rain storms - these ravines are cut deep and steep for a reason!!! We hope you enjoy it!
