TROLLS and TREASURE is the first cache placed by Denali522. The
cache is located off a system of old logging roads on Conservation
land - while placing it we saw frogs, frog eggs, lots of deer
prints, a hawk, and tons of wild flowers. On your travel you will
pass a pond on the right, and a wetland on the left. Be on the
lookout for turtles! The hike is easy, with about 150-300 feet of
bushwhacking at the end, depending on where you decide to leave the
path. The cache is hidden in a very geo-typical way. In order to
stay on the conservation land, you need to follow only one rule:
When you come to a fork in the path, please bear right. There will
be two forks. You will also see periodic Barrington Conservation
Land plaques on the trees. The coordinates are accurate, but you
may have a difficult time in the summer with heavy tree growth. Be
patient. Cache is an ammo box, well marked. Original contents
include TROLLS (wooden and the little guys with crazy hair) and
TREASURE (suncatchers, iridescent hummingbird oranments) and a log
book.
