This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is part of the series of the Blue & The Gray series. You will visit areas close to Tour Stops to find the cache, sign the log and read the information to find the clues for the final coordinates. Caches are not on the Tour Stop property, but close by. Good luck!

Fighting in and around the “Bull Pen” was the most intense hand to hand combat at Bentonville. Soldiers fought to protect the regimental colors of several regiments.

Read the silver and black information sign at this location.
L = The number of this Union Attack times 8

“Fighting South of the Goldsboro Road”
R = Add 5 to the number of flags captured during this battle

In order to visit the final cache in this series, you will first need to visit the other caches and obtain clues from each stop to determine the final coordinates. It really does not matter in what order that you visit the other caches

Final Coordinates:

N 35 2B.LUE
W 078 1G.RAY
