A cache located in the heart of Madison. Go down Thrift Road and look for the Madison Park & Recreation Center. This area has a playground & picnic shelter.
The cache is a camoed container with a log and items to trade. We started the cache off with the Last Doubloon & Pirate Travel Bug. There is a gold dollar coin for the FTF! Happy Trails!
PlEASE NOTE: Recently, a well-meaning geocacher replaced the missing cache with a ziplock bag with a log but in the wrong location. We tried to retrieve this cache when we replaced the actual cache container (a small plastic container), but couldn't locate where this duplicate cache has been placed. If you locate the duplicate cache, please notify us so we can remove it from the area and merge its contents with the real cache. THANKS!
