Wolcott Mill thanks Rattrak, Opa&PK,
Quantum Farms and Cindypray for the cache placements for this
event.

This event will start at the Historic Wolcott Mill
with a Geocaching 101 class beginning at 10am for anyone interested
in learning about geocaching, or with questions. Seasoned cachers
can take the list of newly placed caches and start their search or
wait until the class is over (11:00am) to take a new cacher on
their first hunt. Come meet new and seasoned cachers and maybe win
one of the many prizes.
* There will be many extra GPS units for newbie's to use for the
day. Seasoned cachers always eager as mentors for newbie
geocachers.
* A potluck dinner will be held at 1:00pm. Bill, the Wolcott Mill
Metropark Manager will be grilling Hot dogs as usual. Condiments
will be provided.
* Please bring your own beverage.
No alcohol is allowed in the
park.
* Please bring a dish to pass, IE; Green Salads,
Potato Salads, Beans, etc.
* Donations for the prize table are always welcomed.
* There will be many new caches placed. The coordinates will be
passed out before and after the geocaching 101 class.

"will attend" and let us know what you will bring for the
potluck.

The Gazebo is rented for a Wedding at 4:00pm we
should be cleaned up and disbursed from that area, before that
time. We don't have to leave the park though.
Historic Wolcott Mill is one of the area
Metroparks on 2500 acres of beautiful wooded land by the Clinton
River. The terrain is slightly hilly in some areas, but all on
clear grassy paths and not difficult to walk. No park pass is
required for this event!
The Historic Mill is located on Kunstman Road, just north of 29
Mile Road, in Ray Township. Kunstman Road is located one mile east
of Romeo Plank Road.
