Piggin Night Cache! Mystery Cache

The cache is not at the published coordinates - this is for the recommended parking.

This is a multi-cache, with a puzzle element that can only be done at NIGHT.

Start to finish (back to your car) will take approximately 2 hours with a 3km walk including some off the beaten track.

Please only exchange items that are related to the night. The cache originally contained items that glow in the dark or light up.

You will need a very good torch. I personally recommend a 10,000 lumen CREE/LED such as a Phixton PA160

Make sure you have spare batteries for your torch and GPSr.

Set a waypoint of your car before you leave.

You may need to do some research to decode the cipher at stage 3. I suggest you bring your own pen as this cipher can be a bit of a pig (hint, hint)!

This is a three stage cache

Stage 1
Go to the published co-ordinates and get Muzzy’s number – this can only be done between 18.00 and 02.00

Convert Muzzy’s number to ABCDEFGHIJK

Stage 2

Now go to N51 FH.EK(G+J) W000 GJ. (D+E+F)(GxF)(D+E-K)

At the top of a conventional device for pointing the way you should find the cigarette tube.

After deciphering the code and carefully replacing it, proceed to stage 3

Stage 3
Once you have found "Pip" look around for the start of your trail which will be marked with reflective markers approximately 7-8 foot up a tree. You will see these better with your torches at eye level, follow the white markers through the woods to the final cache location. The cache is an Ammo can with a geocoin you can discover (but not remove). Please make sure the cache is properly replaced and covered afterwards.
