MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Miacomet Pond Multi to find out about the status of this cache on June 2, 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:

Park at N41º 15.702, W 070º06.644. If you go all the way to the beach the walk is about 3 miles round trip (only about 2 miles round trip for the caches). You can stay on the trails up to the last few feet. Make sure to check for ticks when you leave this area!

I love going for a walk from mid-island to the beach via this route. Very nice trail/road with a beautiful view of Miacomet Pond most of the way.

After you reach the second cache, you will reach the beach if you continue down the road for another .49 miles.

The second cache will give you something to give you a little (very little) shade on the way out to the beach.

Please rehide and cover well. Be careful of prickly brush near stage 2. Added disposable camera to stage 2, take a photo of you and crew if you like. I will post them online when the film runs out, if the camera survives. Let me know if you finish the roll so I can retrieve it! Have fun!
