This cache is located by a concrete truss bridge that proudly boasts "1911" in the middle of its arch on the South side. Some of the bridge's high railing has crumbled. A large farm implement (tandem disk) hit and scraped the side of the bridge in 2006. Its elevation is 1234 feet. This bridge crosses the West Branch Floyd River.
The cache is a 35 mm canister (black with a gray lid) and contains a small log sheet. Only coins, small pins, tokens or nothing for trade objects please! There is very little traffic on this dirt road. Do not travel on this road if it is muddy! That's why TERRAIN is rated as a 3. This cache is WHEELCHAIR accessible if the road is not muddy and if a road grader has bladed out any ruts made by 4-wheelers or off road vehicles. There is parking by this bridge in a field entrance. A nice secluded and isolated spot in the country.
