This cache is located in the Molly Stark State park. The park is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day. At Molly Stark State Park you can go camping, hiking, picnicking and even hunting. Please follow the parks rules when visiting: Daytime hours ONLY- walking, hiking and snowshoeing.
You must carry out all your trash.
Camping must be pre-approved.

There is a day use fee from Memorial Day until Columbus Day. The day use fee is $3.00 per person.
If the park is closed for the season you will have to park at the gate and walk up the paved road to the trailhead, the walk to the cache will be .93 one way. If the park is open for the season you can park very near the trailhead and the walk to the cache will be .80 one way.
There is no need to bushwack if you stay on the blue trail, which you follow all the way to the fire tower. The cache is hidden very near the fire tower. It took us about 40 minutes to hike up to the tower. Use caution walking up the trail there is lots of rocks, roots and downed trees you will need to walk over.
The coolest thing about this fire tower is you can walk all the way to the top and enjoy the incredible 360 degree views of VT, MA and NH so remember to bring your camera!
We placed this cache using our Garmin Rino 530 and were accurate to 26' and got to within 11' of the cache. The cache is a plastic ammo can with a Geocaching sticker on the outside.
There are some benchmarks at the fire tower if you are interested and also a letterbox (Polar Bear Pride Letterbox) nearby the cache; we found it while looking for a spot to hide our cache.
