Why Snakes on the Plains?
1. It's a cheesy rip-off of a bad movie title.
2. Snakes have been observed in the area so be careful where you walk and put your hands.
3. When you see the box, you'll understand.
When walking down from the rest stop, it's a lot easier to just walk alongside the entry road all the way back to the gate and then go in for the cache rather than following your GPS cross-country. First to find gets to choose from among the cache contents without trade. Original cache contents include a PathTag, Franny Flamingo TB, 2 dog bandannas, flashlight, Wet Ones, Rubber Duckie, Breast Cancer wristband and MS Wristband. A note about PathTags. They look like small geocoins but are meant to be kept by the finder. They can be logged, but they aren't generally expected to be passed on to other caches. There are currently about 350 different pathtags in production. Feel free to keep mine if you like it. Travel Bugs always welcome here with no restrictions (bugs gotta travel).
