Geocache Description:

Ponds, Pits, and Lakes of Berkshire #13 Binfield pond This is a lovely little pond in Binfield this cache origanally was walkergeoffs Not quite Swan Lake! adopted by bumbleguide but due to injury was unable to maintain look after it so i have adopted this one and add to my series of cache's This cache series was inspired by Martletsman Ponds, Dew Ponds and Lakes of Sussex and with kind permission i decided to bring this in to Berkshire as we don't have many dew ponds and we do have lots of old gravel pits How many times when out walking or cacheing have we come across a pond or lake that seems to be asking to become a Cache?. So armed with pre-prepared micro, it is easy, see site, hide micro, record co-ordinates, get home and enter listing details. This series will consist of a mixture of:- caches in their own right caches situated on the way to other caches cache and dash types. In many cases you can decide which type you want it to be, and may want to look at your maps to decide before setting off. If any body would like to expand to this series please do, just let me bazzer1975 know first so that i can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication Cache is a magnetic keyholder containing logbook, please bring your own pencil. steth is required happy hunting Parking is in nearby Nash Park.
