Geocache Description:

The Ox Drove is an old drovers road which runs from Bentworth to Abbotstone, near Alresford. It is a by-way with a reasonable surface, but can be muddy in places.

Ox-drove tracks were once used to take cattle to market without using main roads and paying the tolls.
This is one of my favourite local cycle trails and can be incorporated into many different routes.
You can park in the Home Farm, Woodland Trust car park, nearby.
Or you could get on your bike and make a 25 mile round trip from Alton or Alresford using the rest of the Ox Drove!
Apologies to the 4WDs amongst us - this section has been closed off to you in recent years.
The cache is in a 1.6l clip & lock box in a cammo bag. It contains a few cycling goodies, toy car, pencil sharpener, highlighter etc. Logbook & pen.
Parking - Home Farm Woodland Trust car park. N51'10.212 W001'03.872
