Geocache Description:

Enjoy an evening of sitting around and chatting after a day of caching the area.

There is no need to jump on the Concord. No expensive hotels. No fancy French restaurants. Just a fun evening in Paris, Ohio.

This is the first event I've hosted. It is in honor of all those wonderful geocachers who have hid caches for me to find on my quest to 1K! We will have a cookout from 5PM until whenever. Bring lawn chairs to sit around the campfire.

I will be providing burgers and hot dogs. You are welcome to bring other side dishes. If you would like to drop off food before going on your daily caching adventures, you can do so between 7:30 and 10 am.

From this central location, you are a short distance to multiple Ohio counties. For those of you trying to find a cache in all 88 Ohio counties, you should be able to pick up several in one day from this location.

The ODNR series has 4 of the 5 State Parks within an hour's drive of here also. Since I was one of the charter members to complete the series in 2006, I thought this would be a good event to highlight the 2007 series. Guilford Lake State Park is only 20 - 25 minutes away. Runner Bear, the family and I completed the 3 caches in Guilford in about 1.5 hours on Memorial Day. Quail Hollow State Park is also about 30 minutes away and has 3 hides in it as well.

There are also approximately 60 caches within a 15 mile radius of here if you are just seeking numbers.

Please include in your attend log the number in your group so we can plan for the burgers and dogs.
