This is our first attempt at hiding caches so they are all quite easy. the tricky bit is woking out how to get to them. NONE OF THE CACHES CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE A361
The A361 North Devon Link Road was planned to make the journey between the M5 and North Devon quick and convienient, These caches have been placed to make that journey less so.(google earth estimates 38 mins from Barnstaple to Bolham, it can be done legally in 30, I would be impressed if the series could be completed in under an hour) The A361 from Bolham roundabout to the A39 at Barnstaple is approximately 28 miles long and has 10 bridges over it (that’s what I counted) The caches have been placed on or near the bridges that take some of the minor roads over the link road. Some of the bridges have been omitted due to access problems or possible muggle activity close by. The use of mapping software or google earth may make route planning easier (or maybe not) or a good OS map NONE OF THE CACHES CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE A361 I would advise cachers to avoid it whilst caching!
