Geocache Description:

Off Hwy. 244 between Ukiah, Or. and Hilgard. In Starkey Experimental Forest. Graveled road.

A favorite mountain camp site for M. D. Orange, a Pilot Rock pharmacist, circa 1934. He wrote an article for Field and Stream or Outdoor Live magazine about his hunting experiences. It was published under the title, "A Teepee In Frog Heaven. Frog Heaven is several miles from his campsite but he liked the name and used it.

The cache location is inside the Starkey Experimental area and access is only from Hwy. 244. Good graveled road to the cache site.
