Located in a farmland setting, this cache is designed to be challenging due to the camoflague - not the terrain. It's suitable for all ages, so come take the Farmer's Challenge - if you dare! ps This cache is available during DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY. We do NOT have permission to be there at night!
Clues? You gotta be kidding, right? This is designed to be a CHALLENGE to find! However, no digging, climbing, or going into the horse pasture or buildings. Those won't get you closer anyway... (Edited 6-3-07 to add a hint for those who want to be "less challenged." :) )
And YES, the cache is there. It has been placed and the coordinates checked. If you see a horse pasture with pond and farmland, you're in the right spot. It's not lost or muggled, nor likely to be so.
There may be neigbhors out. That's ok. We've informed them (so no muggle worries). There may be horses out grazing as the residents like to use them to mow their lawn. That's ok too. They're in on it (even the horses). They don't necessarily know the EXACT spot, so bribery/torture is worthless.
We've started the cache as a "4" figuring that some talented geocachers can find it in a jiffy... but we'll adjust the rating up or down after a few finds/feedback if needed. *** Edited to add that we have dropped the difficulty to a 3. Some folks have searched a bit, others didn't, so we're splitting the difference. Thanks all!***
