LLKD-38 Peconic River
Peninsula
Rozz and I made a day of
looking for good spots to place caches before the 2007 paddle
event. Beautiful late spring day. Saw many Red Wing
Blackbirds, Orioles and Snowy Egrets. Saw my first Glossy
Ibis (Plegadis
falcinellus) on Long Island. Also came across a Muskrat
swimming downstream.
Cache is a plastic ammo box
with a log book, pencils and various trade goods.
Please be careful of the poison ivy around the hide. This
cache is only reachable from the river.
As usual please rehide
better than you find.
