Geocache Description:

Come to Prescott's Sandra S. Lawn Harbour. As you tour this beautiful waterfront area, you will collect numbers to calculate the final coordinates for this multi-cache.

Start at the given coordinates to find a plaque about Major James Morrow Walsh, a Prescott son, of North-West Mounted Police fame. You will find lots of parking at this first stop. Use the dates on the plaque to determine his age when he died: c5 Sitting Bull sought refuge in Canada in 187b-77. Continue the rest of your quest on foot. Proceed to the Lighthouse (N44 42.619 W75 30.707) and find that this Restoration Project took place in 19f9. Nearby, at N44 42.619 W75 30.710, notice that the Time Capsule will be opened in 208e. Your next stop is at the Amphitheatre, where concerts are held on Sunday evenings in July and August, and the Shakespeare Festival takes place each summer (N44 42.583 W75 30.757). Walk down the centre steps toward the stage, and count that there are 2a steps. (New steps have been added in from the street. Do not include these in your count - just the poured concrete steps.) From here, turn around and look at the hillside, where visitors can sit to enjoy performances. Not counting the top level, there are d grass tiers for lawn chairs or cushions. Now use these numbers to find the micro cache at N44 42.a (b+1) (c-4) W75 30.d (e-1) (f+1). Good luck finding our 2nd cache, and we invite you to return to the area in the future to enjoy some of the special attractions Prescott has to offer.
