Geocache Description:

Short walk from parking..

First to the name. Harrisburg street names look like they came from a Monopoly game. The cache just off of Pennsylvania Ave. Don't know if this was intentional or not, but the irony hasn't been missed on the names.

This cache is in the park/museum area of Harrisburg, the county seat of Nebraska's least populated county (Banner). Three churches, one school, the county seat and a bank make up the business end of the county. One lone patrol officer and a borrowed district attorney make up the law end of things. Cache is located at one of the restored buildings on the property, a pioneer church.

Also, a sod house, a couple of log houses, Mart's Drug, and of course, an outhouse. Which is a must see for sure. Has a nice surprise inside. Other structures/items/museum are of interest. Picnic area also. Museun is open 1-5P, Memorial Day/Labor Day on Sundays. So schedule accordingly. Cache is available year round though.

Looking for a magnetic container, so watch your step.

Have Fun, say something fun about the outhouse...
