Geocache Description:

A cache in the heart of Bodmin Moor.

Bronn Wennili is the old Cornish name for this ridge, meaning The Hill of the Swallows. Over the centuries the name became corrupted & it`s now just known as "Brown Willy". This cache is situated towards the southern end of the Brown Willy ridge. It`s close to a heavily weathered rocky outcrop from where there are great views of the moorland to the south. There are many ways into this location but it is a significant walk from any direction, you should therefore be properly prepared for crossing open moorland. The latest edition of O.S. map "Explorer no.109" is particularly useful as "Right to Roam" open access areas & public footpaths are clearly marked. You are looking for a 400ml screw top plastic jar with a slightly smaller "pill pot" inside it. GOOD LUCK! New to Geocaching?
