Geocache Description:

A Microcache very close to the border of the Holy Mount Athos - Agion Oros.

People who want the see the Athos border can do the walk that starts behind the tower of Ouranoupolis.
First follow the road along the coastline untill you see the sign ( a trident fork) for the walk.

After 2,5 Km you arrive at the Mount Athos border.

After you found the cache you can make a choice !

Either you continue the very nice walk for another 1,5 hour and finaly arrive back in Ouranoupolis or you go back the way you came.
You can also visit the ruines of the monastery.

If you decide for the long run be prepared for a walk true a canyon on some more difficult paths,
start between the ruines of the monastery and the Mount Athos border. Take the path next to the olive trees.

Don't forget a pencile or a ballpoint.
