NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
Well, we're starting to run out of puzzle cache ideas, so I thought I'd ask around here in Minnesota to see if anyone had some good ideas to try out in San Diego. I immediately thought of someone creative who could help us; he doesn't cache or hide much anymore, which is too bad because his caches were always so unique.. He's one of a kind, almost.
So I asked him if he had any favorite puzzles. Right away he thought of a great one that he did when he was caching in Liberty Lake, Washington. I can't tell you how it worked; but the final was near a dumpster in the northwest corner of a big parking lot, behind a Safeway (I think it's a Yoke's Fresh Market now), and was amazingly well camoed.
His other favorite is one he found in Charleston, South Carolina; it was only listed on obscure, long-defunct websites, and it was harder than all of TT's puzzles put together. He had to go to the corner of 6th and Crossgate St to gather clues. (At first I got confused because 6th St was mislabeled.) Then, he took them home and did some really gnarly decryption.. He finally got the coordinates for the final, after weeks of work. That was a very creative hide too.
Anyway, those ideas sounded too hard, so I decided not to use them. But after talking about them, we came up with an idea for an easier puzzle. The hide isn't much, just a micro slapped on a green electrical box. But I hope you enjoy it anyway.
