Herzlich willkommen am Ring der Erinnerung
Es erwartet Euch ein familientauglicher Waldspaziergang mit ein paar einfachen Aufgaben. (Gesamtlänge etwa 3,5 km)
Bei den angegebenen Koordinaten könnt Ihr parken.
Begebt Euch zu N 51° 41.697', E 10° 41.157' und Ihr steht am Grenztor. Dort angekommen merkt Ihr Euch als Zahl A, wieviel Kilometer innerdeutsche Grenze die hiesige Grenzkompanie zu sichern hatte.
Nun geht es weiter zu N 51° 41.643', E 10° 40.362' und Ihr steht vor einem ehemaligen Grenzwachturm. Gegenüber ist ein Informationsschild. Die Jahreszahl, ab der die Holztürme durch Betontürme ersetzt wurden ist B.
Mit den beiden Zahlen A und B lassen sich die Cache-Koordinaten berechnen und zwar folgendermaßen:
N 51° 41.(B - 1327 + A)',
E 10° 40.(B - 1980 + A)'
Der Cache liegt an der Peripherie des Ringes.

At first go to N 51° 41.697', E 10° 41.157'. Here you will find a gate of the old border. If you look on the labels you will find a number of how many kilometers of the the former border the army company had to protect. This number is A.
Now go to N 51° 41.643', E 10° 40.362' and you will find an old watchtower. The year where the wooden towers were replaced by the newer stone-towers is B.
Now you can calculate the cache coordinates by using A and B and the following:
N 51° 41.(B - 1327 + A)',
E 10° 40.(B - 1980 + A)'
The cache is hidden at the peripherie of the ring.
