This Cache location was chosen purely for the surrounding views. You can look in any direction from this location and find it hard to disagree that this is one of the most beautiful spots in the UK. In 2006 Country Life magazine awarded this place 'The No1 Picnic Spot in the UK', and in 2004 The Good Holiday Guide chose this location as the best beach in Britain and in the same year it was named in the top 12 in the world. It's even had a rock Album named after it!
Your best route is to start off in the car park as described in GCP2N7 "Twist in the Quay" by Lewylewy (£2.50 parking fee before 5pm). Then head for the GPS co-ordinates given above. It's about a 20 - 30 minute walk, with some great scenery on the way. The terrain is varied, including steep paths/steps both up and down, sand, grass & some woodland. Safety first as always so be careful near the cliffs if you take dogs or sprogs.
The original contents of this Cache are a notebook & pen, an eraser, a plastic toy ninja star and a lightning style bike reflector.
Happy Caching!
