A deceptive walk, into a location few people visit and many of the residents of Leek are unaware off. From the parking location walk past the swimming pool, past the skateboard park, then bear right across the grass. Locate the information board, go to the right of it, down the steps and turn right at the bottom through the gate and into the meadow, your GPS should work well once you are out of the trees; so your on your own now! It can be muddy in places so decent shoes are really a necessity. The title of the cache will become clear as you reach the final location, this was the second in a pair of "stile" caches although the other has since been archived. This is a lovely location for a picnic maybe on a nice day? This cache is not far from the market town of Leek, which in the the year of placement (2007) was celebrating 800 years of being granted it's market charter signed by King John in 1207.
FTF honours go to: kharga.
Since placing this cache I have published the S.M.W. Series one of those is close to this cache but there is NO direct access between the Churnet View cache and here, please do not attempt to get to it directly as recent finders have tried to do.
