Geocache Description:

A quick walk up an easily reachable tor.

Trewint Tor is a low hill on the north-east edge of Bodmin Moor. It`s a very short walk up to the top from where there are nice views on a clear day. The open land on the tor is "Right to Roam" access land so feel free to take any route up it (the enclosed fields lower down are private). Leave the A30 at Trewint and follow the lane signposted - "Westmoorgate". This is the main access route onto West Moor & it skirts the northern flank of the hill. There are plenty of places to park along the roadside. The cache is a 2litre plastic box containing the usual items. I`ve hidden it among the clitter a litle way from the summit. ...
