Cokeville Meadows National Wildlife Refuge - is located in the state of Wyoming and include 26,657 acres. The refuge is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The refuge lies along a 20 mile stretch of Bear River, regarded as the finest Redhead duck habitat in the region. Other nesting and or migratory bird species known to inhabit the refuge include White-faced Ibis, Snowy Egret, Long-billed Curlew, Great Blue Heron, American Bittern, and the Black-crowned Night Heron, Bald and Golden Eagles as well as Peregrine Falcons are know to nest here during the spring and fall seasons. The refuge is considered the finest migratory bird sanctuary in the state of Wyoming. Happy Hunting.
