This is a quick easy walk made just to get you into the area to
enjoy a part of Leavenworth not usually seen by the tourists. There
are many informational signs posted showing the history and growth
of the area and the paths are beautiful at any time of
year.
The cache is named for the plaque just a few feet from the cache
site. I stumbled upon it when looking for a hiding spot. It's a
beautiful poem and makes you wonder what happened to Jennifer at
such a young age.
Please rehide well as this can be a flooded area in extreme years
as well as having a high muggle factor in the summer.
Please note there have been many reports of bees in the
area. Do not search for this cache if you see bees and by no means
if you have an allergy to them.
