Placed near the site of the QLD 4WD Beach Bash events. You need a 4WD (or a boat) to get here hence the terrain rating.
This cache has a long history.
It was initially supposed to be placed during the first QLD Geocachers' 4WD Beach Bash in Dec 2004 but we had so much fun playing in our cars that we forgot to place it.
We took it back there for the 2007 Beach Bash and left in the capable hands of Just A Trifle who kindly placed it for us back in Feb.
Then, work commitments and a new baby intervened and I have been very slack in reporting the cache. Sincere apologies to everyone who was left wondering where it was!
The logbook has been signed by all those who attended both events so there is a little bit of QLD caching history in there for all to see.
