Geocache Description:

This cache sight is located along side US Highway 90.

In the days leading up to the Cival War battle at Olustee Union forces marched west, stopping to camp in communities along the way. The nearby historic marker notes the Union's Sanderson camp and tells of the village as it once was.
Take the time to read the historic marker. Then stop to think about what it must have been like to live in Sanderson as the forces marched through.
