St Margaret's Bay Trail, Rails to Trail. The 'Water Tower That Isn't' is the second of the family orientated caches in this series.
The cache is located on the St. Margaret's Bay Trail, Rails to Trail that was set up in 1999 as a multi use trail. It is a well maintained trail suitable for wheel chairs.The trail has a number of white birch stands,bridges over water,beaver lodges & dams,birds Finches, Chick a dees, blue jays to name a few that are in abundance.A picnic area is set up on the foundation of a water tower used by the railway in previous days. When we placed the cache we watched the Beavers work on thier lodge,while a Bald Eagle soared over head.
