Geocache Description:

Parking Co-Ords. are N. 43 22.719 W. 072 36.119
This cache is not handicap accessible.
Landowner restricts access to property daylight hours only. Please respect this condition.
Parking is in a small pullout on the side of the road. After parking, go diagonally across road and down old road about 50 yards to where the road splits, go right around the gate and follow this road until it ends, after that you're on your own. Mild bushwhacking required thru a mature evergreen forest.
Cache has 5 scratchoff tickets, 1 for each of the 1st 5 finders. Cache has room for small trade items.
Cache is a simple, basic cache located near the Cavendish Gorge on the Black River. The gorge is described on a sign at the powerplant at the base of the gorge as about 1050 feet long, with water sculptured rocks, huge boulders, and in places sheer rock walls 50-80 feet high. The cache isn't located in or on the edge of the gorge, but cachers with small children and/or pets with them might want to skip this cache since the area does have the potential for falls or other serious situations.
After finding this cache you might want to take a few minutes and continue down towards the bottom end of the gorge- there's some impressively shaped rock "sculptures" eroded by the riverwater over the last few million years.
After finding this cache don't even THINK about bushwhacking over the gorge to its companion cache("Up One Side..."). It'll only take you a few minutes to return to your vehicle and drive to the parking co-ords. for the other cache.
